Game begins at 5-30pm
So make sure you’re there
in plenty of time.
All gear supplied.
Social rules apply, which
means you’re there to enjoy yourself, but do it safely.
We would like to see as many members as
possible turn up for this fun event. It doesn’t
matter if you’ve paddled for years or just
starting out. If you really don’t want to
participate, just come on down to cheer on the
others. It will be taking place in the swimming
area in front of K4U, so where ever you stand or
sit you’ll be very close to the action. There will
also be a shortened course for the juniors.
If anyone turns up with a water pistol or water
balloons etc, they may be confiscated after the
event.
We have a number of club members
paddling in the Avon Descent this year.
Why not have a day out, have a picnic and
cheer them on. If you sit beside one of the
many rapids you certainly won’t be bored
with over six hundred paddlers many of
whom perform spectacular controlled
dismounts.
